"Understanding" the earth.
Ghena belongs to a clan of people who are gifted with the ability to understand a chosen element -- in this case, her element is earth! With this skill she has a basic knowledge of how to "understand" what the earth is feeling at any given moment, and also is able to channel her magic through it to sense other people/animals/what have you standing on the same ground that she is.
This doesn't apply to wood, laminate, or anything like that -- only rock and earth floors, and the ground outside! It's worth noting that generally the earth is feeling like...earth...but Kyriakos is magic so she won't really be able to understand it all that well until she talks to someone about it. (Queen hi.)
Also if you float above the ground/are a magical person or Echo who can hide their presence, it is totally possible to fool her into thinking you aren't there.
